C. Melchers GmbH & Co, Malaysia was established in 1958 to handle and develop the businesses on behalf of C. Melchers GmbH & Co. Bremen, Germany for the whole of Malaysian Territory capturing on the wide network and vast experience of a company that has developed competence in the Asian marketplace since 1806.
Initially, the company focused on the export of technical products from Europe, mainly machinery, project engineering and supply of industrial raw materials. C. Melchers GmbH & Co, Malaysia has developed into a competent sales and service organization with a worldwide principal and supplier base. It also assumes role as a reliable sourcing base for overseas customers for Malaysian manufactured products.
In collaboration with C. Melchers GmbH & Co., Germany, C.Melchers GmbH & Co, Malaysia holds selected high profile agencies to cater to the needs of various Malaysian industries. By associating first class principals who deliver superior products, C.Melchers GmbH & Co, Malaysia is able to offer not only individual independent unit but also package or turnkey solutions and create synergies for suppliers. Irrespective of being broadly diversified, the company has very specialized departments and is able to meets all our customers' specific needs. In order to stay close to the customer, the company has established satelite subsidiary offices in Penang in the north and Johor Bahru in the south.
Being in Malaysia not only for the long-term, but for good, C. Melchers GmbH & Co, Malaysia has established a fully Malaysian incorporated company, Melchers (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd in 1980 with an aim to actively participate in the industrialization process of Malaysia industry and simultaneously develop the export business of Malaysian agricultural produces as well as manufactured products. Parallelly, this localized company also sells and markets equipments, as well as providing qualified after sales service to support customers and principals alike. In the course of expansion, the company ventures into the sales and marketing of healthcare products which is inclusive of health foods and cosmetics and body care. The company has also now a qualified department for graphic supplies in printing blanket, photopolymer plates, P.S plates, inks, fountain soultions, anilox cleaner, roller dampening sleeves, plate developer and cleaner. The department is also exporting Malaysian produced graphic supplies items inclusive of plate making equipment.
