Sapphire

For sheet-fed printing.

Sapphire blankets are characterised by a new compressible layer which combines a long blanket life with top print quality. The new superfine ground surface guarantees excellent results when printing screens as well as solids. Sapphire blankets are suitable with all types of stock and give equally good paper release speeds from all.

Amethyst

A stripping blanket for varnishing and coating.

The blanket has been constructed so the surface and compressible layer can be accurately cut away to leave recesses with relief depths of more than 0.90mm

Peridot

This blanket has been specially developed to meet the requirements of modern, multi-colour newspaper printing. With properties attuned to the printing material, Peridot sets new standards of quality and economic efficiency. The surface provides excellent ink transfer and dot sharpness while the carcass fabrics ensure very low pack down and stretch.

Topaz

For sheet-fed printing.

The new surface construction of the Topaz blanket provides a high degree of durability even when using highly pigmented inks or if frequent paper changes are required. Topaz's surface allows for alternate prints using both UV and conventional inks without causing problems. The fine ground surface guarantees very good print results with easy washability and excellent paper release.

Ruby

The Ruby blanket has an EPDM surface that is specially attuned to UV inks, providing the highest possible chemical resistance and durability. The extremely fine surface structure ensures a uniform solid print and a very sharp dot. Special compound additives incorporated into the surface guarantee excellent paper release.

Emerald

For Heatset web printing.

Available in 1.68 and 1.96mm

Emerald has been specially designed for the needs of high speed commercial web printing. The newly formulated surface compound with its finely ground surface provides excellent ink transfer and web release. The blanket has very good solvent resistance and the closed cell structure in the compressible layer gives very good recoverability.
